The Veeder-Root AB 2481 Vacuum Sensing SystemSome of the information on this CD-ROM is preliminary as the products may not have launched and may not be available at this time. Please visit our website at veeder.com for future updates on new environmental products. The Veeder-Root Secondary Containment Vacuum Sensing (SCVS) System was designed to meet the California State Water Resource Control Board’s (SWRCB’s) Assembly Bill (AB) 2481 monitoring regulations. AB 2481 requires that the interstitial (or secondary) space of tanks, product lines, vent lines & sumps installed below grade (i.e. base of concrete) to be monitored with a continuous vacuum or positive pressure. If the secondary space is monitored under a positive pressure (e.g. using hydrostatic fluid) the secondary space must be kept at a pressure that is greater than that in the primary. As a result, stations that have pressurized product lines will likely require a vacuum sensing system. This CD-ROM contains both marketing and technical documentation for the Veeder-Root AB 2481 Vacuum Sensing System. Along with other documentation, this CD-ROM contains a link to the Vacuum Sensing System wiring diagram and links to Autocad build specification drawings. The documents on this CD-ROM require Adobe Reader freeware Viewing Software.
